SSF HOA Board of Directors

The Sonata Single Family Board of Directors is responsible for maintaining the reputation of our community, managing the financial assets of the Homeowner's Association, and planning for the future.

Our Board consists of 5 members, who are elected to serve a 2-year term. The Officers are elected by the Board members and include President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Director at Large.

All homeowners are encouraged to become involved with a Committee or the Board. Input from many neighbors is vital to keeping the Board active and attuned to the needs and concerns of our residents.

Greg Woodbury, Vice President

Having called Sonata Single Family home since 2012, I'm now retired after a fulfilling career. Prior to that, I served as the VP of Business Development and held a minority ownership stake in FMG Suite, a financial services technology firm. My earlier experience in real estate instilled in me a deep appreciation for how property values impact a community's character. This appreciation fuels my desire to help maintain the beautiful environment we all enjoy in Sonata. Personally, my wife Camille and I are passionate backcountry hikers, and we remain actively involved in the lives of our two adult children.

Jean Larson

A north San Diego county resident since 1977, Jean has more than 38 years in nonprofit management filling leadership roles with Rady Children’s Hospital, Palomar Health, The Welty Group, and most currently, as Executive Director of Legacy Endowment Community Foundation. During her career, Jean has held a variety of volunteer board roles with the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is the current Public Relations/Marketing Chair for the Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary Club. She has lived in Sonata since 2014.

Jody Guth, Treasurer

Jody is a California native and moved to Escondido taking up residence in Sonata since 1994. Her background has been 36 years in Real Estate with her experience ranging from being a Commercial Property Manager of high rise office buildings in Beverly Hills to working for Coldwell Banker and Merrill Lynch/Prudential as a Commercial Real Estate Agent in selling and leasing commercial property in Los Angeles and Ventura County and then on to owning her own Mortgage Company here in San Diego for 14 years. She really enjoys traveling.

Sonja Lindberg, Director At Large

I have been a homeowner in Sonata Single Family since 2017. After living in Valley Center for 24 years and raising two daughters there, it was a major decision for me to move closer to town. I chose Sonata for its proximity to open green spaces. We are virtually surrounded by gSan Dieguito River Park, Vineyard Golf Course and Kit Carson Community Park. Add to that the over 90 acres of conservation open space in the community and we have an ideal mix of city and nature. Keeping the neighborhood beautiful and healthy for all to enjoy will be my focus as a Board Member and Landscape Committee Chair. I am a retired clinical veterinarian of 33 years and recently completed a Masters Degree in Conservation Biology. I truly believe in the power of diverse community members coming together to make positive change happen. In that spirit, I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming months and years.
